Japanese connection

A relatively unknown facet of Nightnoise is the work they did with Mimori Yusa, a Japanese singer. They played backing on her “Water Blue” album, which includes her singing “Island of Hope and Tears”. Listen to a 30 second excerpt (460 kb). That is Brian Dunning playing the bagpipes, apparently.

Her records are very difficult to get outside Japan.
